2015
It’s winter in the northern hemisphere but down under it is mid-summer and things in the world of tennis are heating up. The Australian Open is the first grand slam tennis tournament of 2015 and there are plenty of beautiful, talented tennis players trying to start the year off right.

Agnieszka "Aga" Radwa?ska [a?????ka rad?va?ska] (born 6 March 1989) is a Polish professional tennis player. Radwa?ska achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 2 in July 2012 and is currently ranked World No. 6 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Known for constructing points and making intelligent use of the court, she has won fourteen career singles titles.

Radwa?ska holds a number of tennis accolades. She is the first Polish player in the Open Era to reach the singles final of a Grand Slam (the 2012 Wimbledon Championships), the first Pole to claim a WTA singles title (the 2007 Nordea Nordic Light Open), and the winner of the longest three-set match played at the WTA Tour Championships. In addition, she won the WTA Award for Most Impressive Newcomer in 2006.

Radwa?ska has been voted the WTA's most popular player for four consecutive years (2011–2014), the most of any woman, in polls held by WTATennis.com. For her accomplishments in sport and for representing her country with distinction, in 2013 she was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit by Polish President Bronis?aw Komorowski.
